Notre Dame football: Where does Kyle Hamilton land in the latest 2022 NFL Mock Drafts?

How about a top-2 selection for Hamilton? In his latest mock draft for NBC Sports, Glynn Morgan has the Irish star going No. 2 overall, landing with the hapless Detroit Lions. It has been a tough start to his coaching career for Dan Campbell, who broke down and cried after his team’s recent loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

The truth is, no coach could win consistently with this team, as they have gaping holes all over the roster. In the secondary, Detroit does have two fairly recent third-round picks at the two safety spots in Will Harris and Tracy Walker, but they are not on the same level, skill-wise as Hamilton.

If drafted No. 2 overall, Hamilton would become a face of this franchise, and someone that could help ease the stresses of Campbell heading into his second season as head coach. Campbell coaches with a lot of passion, and Hamilton plays the game not only with passion but the right way, making the two a perfect fit for each other in the Motor City.
