Notre Dame football: 6 Irish selected in 2022 7-round NFL Mock Draft

In a recent 2022 NFL Mock Draft, the Notre Dame football team had six players selected across the three-day event, including the No. 9 overall pick.
The Notre Dame football team saw 14 players head to the NFL last offseason via the NFL Draft, or NFL free agency, leaving a ton of holes on the roster. They have regrouped, getting out to a 5-1 record this season, but the wins have been tough to come by, and some of the guys who have left have been downright tough to replace.
The talented Ian Cummins from Pro Football Network recently put together a 7-round 2022 NFL Mock Draft, and in it, the Irish were well-represented with six selections.

9. player. 47. . Safety. New England Patriots. Kyle Hamilton
The first member of the Notre Dame football team off the board is no big surprise, as many feel that Kyle Hamilton will be one of the first names called next April. The big surprise here is the fact that he fell to No. 9 in this mock draft, as most mocks have him in the top-5, and a few even in the top-2.
For Hamilton, this would be a perfect landing spot, playing for a defensive genius in Bill Belichick with the New England Patriots. This is a team that is rebuilding after Tom Brady left after the 2019 NFL season and one that has talented veterans, like Devin McCourty, for Hamilton to learn the NFL game from.
