Notre Dame football vs. USC Trojans: 3 Irish players to watch in Week 8

Cam Hart

As we stated earlier, the Trojans have an absolute star at wide receiver in Drake London, a player who is averaging more than ten catches per game. London has at least 130 receiving yards in each of his last five games, and his last time out, he hauled in 16 passes against the Utah Utes in a 42-26 loss.

The player who is likely to draw London in this game is Cam Hart, who is having a solid season of his own, and who some believe could end up being a Day 2 draft pick when all is said and done. London stands 6-foot-5, but Hart is not small at all, standing at 6-foot-2, so he has the size to challenge him on deep balls.

Hart was a question mark for the Irish going into this season, but he has emerged as not only a solid cover cornerback but one who has a knack for the big play. Remember, he has an All-American in Kyle Hamilton manning a deep half, so he can take chances, and I believe he will hold London down enough for the Irish to win this one.
