These two programs are tied for second all-time, with 11 National Championships each. Notre Dame has the third-best all-time record (923-330-42) and USC has the eight (855-355-54). Notre Dame is 1st all-time, with 104 consensus All-Americans, while USC has had 82, good for fourth all-time. Notre Dame’s seven Heisman winners are best, while USC’s six Heisman winners are good for fourth.

The two programs are also 1 and 2 for NFL Draft picks, (Notre Dame has 520, USC has 517). Notre Dame’s 98 weeks at number 1 in the AP poll is 4th, while USC’s 91 weeks is 5th.
