Notre Dame football vs. USC Trojans: 3 Trojans who must be stopped

Keaontay Ingram

Going back to the offensive side of the ball, while Drake London is an absolute monster on the outside, the Trojans can run the ball effectively when they want to as well. Keaontay Ingram is an explosive back who has had some nice efforts this season and currently goes into the game averaging nearly six yards per carry.

This week, Ingram got some hilarious publicity based on his reaction to learning that it is going to be pretty cold in South Bend come Saturday night. Maybe that plays into the Irish’s favor, and maybe it does not, but one thing is for sure, if Ingram can get it going in the run game, it is going to open up a lot for Slovis and the passing attack on the outside.

The Irish should have enough talent to beat USC in this rivalry game, but it will depend on which Notre Dame football team comes to play. There have been times where they have looked terrible this season, but under the lights in primetime inside Notre Dame Stadium, I believe they will do enough to get it done.
