Running Backs
The offense is a lot easier when the running game shows up. So, points to the offensive line for helping out there, but even more credit to Kyren Williams, who dominated this game. Williams was breaking tackles, making his way in this game much better than he had done at all before during this season. That hard running and those broken tackles set the tone, and Williams finally broke 100 yards.
C’Bo Flemister and Logan Diggs also got several touches each, and they were solid, though nothing special. Chris Tyree has been dealing with a turf toe issue that kept him down in this one. The biggest story remained Williams’s ability to plant his foot, cut, and go downfield.
Williams would also be used heavily in the passing game, as the screen game was based around him for large portions of the game. He also had kick and punt return duties throughout the night. A lot of these would have normally been shared with Tyree, had he been healthy.
