3 reasons Notre Dame football will beat UNC in Week 9

Home field advantage

On Saturday night, the atmosphere inside Notre Dame Stadium was electric, and that was definitely a factor when it came to the outcome. With a lot on the line this weekend, as a second loss will be devastating to their bowl chances, you can expect the home fans to be rocking in this one.

Home-field advantage is a real thing when it comes to college football, and the Irish have been one of the best teams in the country at home for as long as I can remember. A rowdy crowd should be able to throw Sam Howell off of his game, leading to some possible turnovers and an eventual lopsided score.

There is still a lot for this Irish team to play for this season, as an 11-1 record after losing so much talent to the NFL would be quite an accomplishment. The CFP is a long shot, but a New Years Six bowl game is not, and a win against a solid UNC team is going to go a long way in them possibly moving up in the rankings.
