The Notre Dame football team takes on the UNC Tar Heels on Saturday night, and here are three bold predictions for the matchup inside Notre Dame Stadium.

The Notre Dame football team will take on the UNC Tar Heels in Week 9, this after dominating against rival USC a week ago. The Irish are playing their most complete brand of football right now and looking at the rest of the schedule, they have a legitimate shot to finish this season with only one loss.

With that said, we look at three bold predictions for the matchup Saturday night.

DJ Brown nabs an interception

At this point, everyone knows that star safety Kyle Hamilton is out for this game, seemingly leaving the Notre Dame football team with a gaping hole at the position. However, for those who cover the team, DJ Brown is no slouch, and he nearly beat out Houston Griffith for the starting job opposite Hamilton this spring and summer.

On Saturday night, Brown jumps into the starting lineup opposite Griffith, and I believe that the Tar Heels are going to test him. He played for Hamilton against UNC when he was ejected for targeting last season, and this year, they try the wrong player, with Brown nabbing an interception.
