Notre Dame football: Games to keep an eye on in 2021 Week 10 slate

No. 7 Oregon at Washington

Another game to keep an eye on that features a team ahead of the Irish in the rankings is the Pac-12 matchup between Oregon and Washington. The Ducks are the No. 7 ranked team in the country right now and have a big win on the resume after beating the Ohio State Buckeyes early on, something that will help them in terms of the College Football Playoff voting down the road.

However, they are also a team that can be beaten, especially on the road, as we saw Stanford do the job against them a few weeks back. They also barely squeaked by UCLA on the road as well, and this weekend, they take on a Huskies team that has played better as of late, including back-to-back road wins against Arizona and Stanford in their last two games.

Of course, both Michigan State and Oregon are favored in these matchups, but playing tough schools in-conference has proven to be an issue for top-ranked teams all season long. The Irish are a monster favorite against Navy and should win easily, and the hope is that some of the higher-ranked teams in front of them falter in Week 10.
