The Notre Dame football team is looking for win No. 8 this weekend, and to earn it, these three Navy Midshipmen must be stopped.

Going into this game with a 2-6 record, nobody expects the Navy Midshipmen to be much of a problem for this Notre Dame football team. They are a one-dimensional unit, do not have the playmakers the Irish have and have looked like one of the worst teams in the country on a near-weekly basis.

Still, this is FBS football, and every team is going to have players to keep an eye on. We look at three of them for the Navy Midshipmen here.

Diego Fagot, Linebacker

The Navy Midshipmen may not be one of the better teams in the country, but they have a linebacker in Diego Fagot that must be accounted for at all times. A legitimate NFL talent, Fagot is by far the team’s leader in tackles, racking up 71 already this season, which is parallel to what J.D. Bertrand is doing for the Irish.

Fagot is a hard-hitting, explosive linebacker, and the Navy Midshipmen will have him all over the field in this one. The Midshipmen have had some moments on defense, including against tough offenses like Cincinnati, and on Saturday, Fagot figures to have more than a few opportunities to make his presence felt.
