Notre Dame football vs. Navy Midshipmen: 3 things we learned in Week 10

Kyren Williams is an all-time player for the Irish

Since the bye week, and the Irish fixing the offensive line, the running game, led by Kyren Williams, has been impossible to stop. After rushing for 138 yards against USC, then 199 against UNC, Williams was back at it again on Saturday, putting together an effort that saw him rush for 95 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries, while also hauling in seven passes.

When it comes to the 2022 NFL Draft, Williams is going to be one of the first running backs off the board and has the complete set to make him an absolute menace at the next level. In terms of his legacy at Notre Dame, Williams has already rushed for over 1,900 yards in his career and has three games left this season, so cracking the top-10 rushers in school history in only two seasons is very much on the table.

The truth is, this is probably the last we will see of Williams across the next three regular-season games, and then hopefully a New Years Six bowl game, or CFP appearance, so enjoy him while he is still donning the Blue and Gold. Williams will go down as one of the best running backs in program history, and will certainly be missed in 2022 and beyond.
