The Notre Dame football team takes on Virginia in Week 11, and here are three things to keep an eye on throughout the matchup.

The Notre Dame football team goes into their Week 11 matchup with the Virginia Cavaliers with an 8-1 record, and a real chance of winning out the rest of the way. This is one of two road games to close the three-game stretch to end the season and one that is a must-win if they want to continue to move up the rankings for a CFP berth.

Here, we look at some things to keep an eye on in this matchup in primetime on Saturday night.

Notre Dame football at Virginia: 3 things to watch

Kyren Williams and the run game

We start out with the run game, as Kyren Williams and company have been outstanding as of late, dominating since coming out of the bye week. While Williams did not get over 100 yards this past week against Navy, he has been one of the best backs in football over the last month and is putting this Notre Dame offense on his back.

Williams is also getting some great play behind him, as Logan Diggs, a true freshman, has been outstanding as of late as well. He is a guy who is going to play a huge role for this program once Williams heads to the NFL, and we are getting a glimpse at what could be the future feature back in South Bend.
