The Notre Dame football team takes on the Virginia Cavaliers in Week 11, and here are three keys to victory in the Saturday night matchup.

The Notre Dame football team will look to continue their strong play out of the bye week on Saturday night, as they head to Virginia to take on the Cavaliers in primetime. The Irish have looked much better on both sides of the ball coming out of the break, and with a three-game win streak to end the season, they can finish at 11-1, and disrupt the CFP rankings.

Here, we look at three keys to victory for them against Virginia on Saturday night.

Get after Brennan Armstrong

The Cavaliers have an outstanding quarterback in Brennan Armstrong, who can fill up the stat sheet in a hurry. Armstrong has dominated opponents through the air this season, leading the FBS in total yards, but the problem for him in this one is that he is banged up, and will be facing a tough Notre Dame defense.

If Armstrong can play, you can be sure that Marcus Freeman is going to dial up a defensive game plan that is going to put a lot of pressure on him. The Cavaliers have a true freshman as their backup quarterback, and while he is a talented kid in his own right, he is nowhere near the talent that Armstrong is.
