The Notre Dame football team takes on Virginia in Week 11, and here are three reasons the Irish will beat the Cavaliers Saturday night.

The Notre Dame football team still has a ton to play for, as their CFP hopes are still alive, as are making a New Years Six bowl game. The Irish have been playing the best football they have all season as of late, and will be looking to make a statement against the Virginia Cavaliers on the road in Week 11.

Here, we look at three reasons the Irish will win this game on the road.

The Trenches

The Irish are the better team upfront in this matchup on both sides of the football, which is something that will be a difference-maker in this one. Since revamping the offensive line, the Irish have been getting outstanding push, and that has helped Kyren Williams hit his stride late in the season.

On Saturday, look for the defensive line to also get push against this Virginia offensive line, hopefully getting after Brennan Armstrong, who is banged up heading into this one. Isaiah Foskey has been outstanding coming off the edge in 2021, and you can be sure Marcus Freeman is going to let him attack this UVA offense again Saturday night.
