The Notre Dame football team will be looking for win No. 8 on Saturday night, and here are some reasonable expectations for them against Virginia.

The Notre Dame football team hits the road in Week 11, as they travel to Virginia to take on the 6-3 Cavaliers. Notre Dame has played some great football since the bye week, reeling off three victories in a row against USC, UNC, and Navy, and will look to continue to their solid second half in this one.

Here, we look at three reasonable expectations for them tonight against the Cavaliers.

Notre Dame football: 3 reasonable expectations against Virginia in Week 11

Notre Dame wins by two touchdowns

The Irish go into this game as a six-point favorite over the Cavaliers, a number that has only jumped up a half a point during the week. However, looking at these two teams, there is good reason to believe that this one could get out of hand by the end of it, with the Irish beating Virginia pretty soundly.

Notre Dame has done a great job protecting the football as of late, as well as running it down the opposition’s throat. I believe that is going to be the game plan against the Cavaliers, and if Kyren Williams gets it going, this one could get ugly, with the Irish winning by at least two touchdowns.
