Notre Dame football: 3 reasons the Irish will beat Georgia Tech in Week 12

Georgia Tech struggles on defense

Recently, the Georgia Tech defense has been atrocious, as they have allowed at least 30 points in their last four games, which happens to be a four-game losing streak. On Saturday, they will be facing the most complete offense than they have faced this season, with the Irish run and passing game in full effect.

One area they struggle in is against the pass, and Jack Coan and this offense have many weapons to utilize. He has an elite tight end in Michael Mayer, outstanding running backs who can catch the ball out of the backfield, and deep threats in Lorenzo Styles Jr. and Kevin Austin Jr.

All of this adds up to what could be a 40-burger against the Yellow Jackets this weekend, a convincing win that will catapult the Irish further up the CFP rankings. If Georgia Tech struggles on defense against this Irish offense, the way they are playing now, they are going to be in for a long afternoon inside Notre Dame Stadium.
