Notre Dame football at Stanford: 3 Cardinal to worry about in Week 13
By Brad Weiss
The Notre Dame football team is looking to make another statement this weekend, and here are three Stanford Cardinal they need to worry about.
To cap off their 2021 regular season, the Notre Dame football team will travel West to take on the Stanford Cardinal in primetime. It has been an incredible season for the Irish, one that seemed to go off the rails early on, but they are now in a position to make a legitimate run at the College Football Playoff.
Against Stanford, these are three Cardinal the Irish have to worry about Saturday night.

Kyu Blu Kelly, Cornerback
We start in the secondary, where the Cardinal have one of the better defensive backs in the Pac-12 in Kyu Blu Kelly. A ballhawk who is also sixth on the team in tackles this season, Kelly also leads the way with two interceptions, one that he ran back for a touchdown against USC back in Week 2 of the college football season.
The problem has been that Kelly hasn’t nabbed a pick since, but he has racked up a ton of tackles and has ten passes defended this season. If the Irish go to the air, they may want to find out where Kelly is before attacking his zone.
