The Notre Dame football team finishes out their regular season on Saturday night, and here are three reasons they will beat Stanford.

After a rocky start to the 2021 college football season, the Notre Dame football team is right where they want to be, ranking No. 6 in the latest College Football Playoff ranking. The Irish are a Michigan loss against Ohio State, and Alabama loss to Georgia to possibly make it in, which is crazy considering how they started the season.

On Saturday night, they will take on Stanford, and here is why they will win.

Battle along the lines

Since revamping the offensive line, the Notre Dame football team has been dominating in the trenches, something they should be able to do against this Stanford team on Saturday night. The left side of the line has been outstanding, and that has led to Kyren Williams and company rushing at an incredible pace.

On defense, the line is outstanding as well, as guys like Isaiah Foskey and Howard Cross III were in the backfield a ton against Georgia Tech. Overall, this is a team that is getting great push right now, and that is going to be key for them to own the line of scrimmage against the Cardinal.
