The Notre Dame football team caps off their 2021 regular season on the road against Stanford, and here are three keys to victory for the Irish in Week 13.

When it comes to the 2021 college football season for the Notre Dame football team, you could certainly describe it as a roller coaster. Looking like a middle-of-the-top-25 team early on, the Irish have been dominating teams as of late and will look to finish an 11-1 season on the road against Stanford in Week 13.

With that said, here are three keys to victory against the Cardinal.

Get pressure on Tanner McKee

Stanford got Tanner McKee back last weekend, as he returned from a knee injury to battle it out against Cal in the Big Game. Unfortunately for McKee, and the Cardinal, that game was not much of a contest, as Cal routed them in his return by thirty points.

On Saturday night, Notre Dame has to make it priority No. 1 to get McKee off his mark and uncomfortable, as they will enable this Irish team to control that side of the ball. There are not too many playmakers on this Stanford offense, but McKee can make throws if he has time, so guys like Isaiah Foskey and Howard Cross III have to be in his face early and often.
