True Freshmen

The Notre Dame football program has some special draft classes coming in both 2022 and 2023, and while the 2023 class only has a few names, they are big ones. The 2022 class has some of the best players in the country and will end up being a top-5 class, this thanks to the job of Brian Kelly and his staff.

The 2021 class was not supposed to have a major impact this season, outside of maybe quarterback Tyler Buchner, but they have been coming on as of late. Logan Diggs looks like a star running the football, Lorenzo Styles Jr. can take the lid off a defense, and Audric Estime looked like a monster in the backfield against Virginia.

On defense, we have yet to see the emergence of a true star, though Prince Kollie should be an elite linebacker moving forward for this program. Overall, this was a great effort from this recruiting class, one that is going to help lead this program to a possible national title shortly.
