Notre Dame football at Stanford: 3 bold predictions in Week 13

Irish run for 250+ yards

In Week 12, the Cal Golden Bears ran all over the Stanford defense, averaging over 10 yards per carry on 34 totals, good for 352 yards overall and three scores. Truth be told, Stanford looked lost on defense against the run, and the pass, so this could be easy sledding for this Irish offense on Saturday night.

Turning the focus specifically to the run game, the Irish have been pounding teams on the ground since they have revamped their offensive line. Not only has Kyren Williams done a nice job toting the rock, but Logan Diggs has had some special moments as a true freshman, and we finally got to see Audric Estime last weekend.

I believe the Irish are going to focus on the run game early against the Cardinal, and we could see a monster game from Williams and company on the ground. Williams only needs 70-plus yards to get to 1,000, and this is a game where he could double that total, leading a rushing attack that goes for over 250 yards.
