The Notre Dame football team has plenty of underclassmen that are draft-eligible in 2022, but here are five we would like to see back.

The Notre Dame football team has won a lot of games during the last five seasons, and the current group of draft-eligible players is a big reason why. On both sides of the ball, this has been a group that has come in and changed the narrative surrounding this program and is on the brink of making their professional dreams a reality.

Here, we look at five players with some eligibility left that are also eligible for the draft, and who we would love to see back next season.

Kyren Williams, Running Back

A redshirt sophomore, Kyren Williams has been stellar for the Irish across the past two seasons, rushing for over 1,000 yards in each campaign. In fact, he is the fifth running back in the history of the program to accomplish that feat and has pushed himself into the conversation of being one of the best backs in school history.

Now, he has a decision to make, as he is widely regarded as one of the best running back prospects in this year’s draft class. Williams can not only tote the rock, but is solid in the passing game, and with the way he pass protects, he is one of the more complete backs coming out this year and is regarded as a Day 2 pick.
