Notre Dame football: 6 Irish selected in latest PFN 7-Round Mock

Day 2

Round 2, Pick No. 56: Kyren Williams, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The second member of the Notre Dame football team off the board is running back Kyren Williams, who is fresh off his second 1,000-yard season for the Irish. With his strong finish to the season, Williams becomes the fifth back in program history to rush for back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons, etching his name in Notre Dame history.

With Tampa Bay, he would be joining a solid offensive unit led by the greatest quarterback of all time in Tom Brady. He would also be joining 2020 teammate Robert Hainsey, who was a third-round pick of the Bucs last year.

Round 3, Pick No. 68: Cam Hart, Jacksonville Jaguars

Cam Hart has really burst onto the scene this season and has played his way into being a potential Day 2 pick. He is outstanding in coverage, has the athleticism to start at the next level, and in Jacksonville, would find a place where he could be a Day 1 starter for Urban Meyer and company.

Round 3, Pick No. 71: Isaiah Foskey, Washington Football Team

The Washington Football Team gets a bonafide star here in Isaiah Foskey, who joins a team led by a defensive-minded head coach in Ron Rivera. The WFT is one of the hottest teams in football right now, and are doing it without star edge rusher Chase Young, who would be an excellent person for Foskey to learn the pro game behind in Year 1.

Round 3, Pick No. 77: Jarrett Patterson, Minnesota Vikings

Also getting selected in the third round of this mock draft is center Jarrett Patterson, who is one of the better interior offensive linemen in this draft class. The Vikings are a team that could hit the reset button at a few positions next season, including quarterback, but Patterson is someone who has the versatility to play up and down the offensive line if the Vikings need him to.
