The Notre Dame basketball team is looking for another crucial win today, as they battle it out against the Indiana Hoosiers.

Coming off one of the biggest wins of Mike Brey’s tenure as the head coach of the Notre Dame basketball team, the Irish will battle it out against Indiana today. This is the first time the Irish have taken the court since last Saturday’s victory, a game that saw true freshman Blake Wesley hit the game-winning shot with 0:12 seconds remaining.

Making his first start for the Irish, Wesley proved to have the killer instinct, and his play could take this Notre Dame program to the next level. Indiana comes into this game with an 8-2 record, and only has a 2OT loss to Syracuse and a road loss to No. 22 Wisconsin on their schedule.

This will be the last Crossroads Classic game for these two programs, and for the Irish, it will be another chance to make a real statement, bolstering their NCAA Tournament resume.

Notre Dame vs Indiana Odds: Line, Spread, Over/Under

Notre Dame basketball vs Indiana Prediction Today

This is going to be another tall task for the Irish, though they looked a lot more balanced with Wesley in the starting lineup last weekend. They are going to need another big game from their super-Freshman in this one, but this is a game that is going to be a battle in the paint.

Indiana has two very good forwards in Trayce Jackson-Davis, who leads the team with 19.3 points per game, as well as Race Thompson, who is not only second on the team in scoring, but also No. 1 in rebounding. If Paul Atkinson can minimize their damage, you have to think that Notre Dame can at least cover the spread.

In the end, I like Indiana to win a close one, with Notre Dame covering the five points, but do not be surprised if this is another upset victory for the Irish.
