Notre Dame football Game Saturday: Notre Dame vs Oklahoma State odds and prediction for Playstation Fiesta Bowl
By Brad Weiss
The Notre Dame football team takes on Oklahoma State in the Playstation Fiesta Bowl, and here are the early odds and prediction for the bowl game.
The time has come for Marcus Freeman to make his head coaching debut, as the Notre Dame football team squares off against the Oklahoma State Cowboys in the Playstation Fiesta Bowl. For the Irish, it has been a roller coaster of a ride since they defeated Stanford to close out the regular season with seven straight victories, and with Freeman now at the helm, they will be looking to get his era off on the right foot.
To do so, they will have to beat an Oklahoma State team that was one of the best in the country throughout the season, and one that seemed in line for a College Football Playoff berth before losing to Baylor in the Big 12 title game. They were without their star running back, Jaylen Warren in that game, and forced to put it in the air, Spencer Sanders struggled, tossing four interceptions.
You can expect a more balanced Cowboys attack on Saturday, making this another tremendous test for this Irish defense.

Notre Dame vs Oklahoma State Prediction Playstation Fiesta Bowl
The Irish will be going into this matchup with a ton of excitement, especially after Freeman was named the head coach. Sure, they do not have star running back Kyle Hamilton, or potential top-5 pick, Kyle Hamilton against Oklahoma State, but they are still loaded on both sides of the ball and looked like a juggernaut heading into the final week of the season.
Oklahoma State, on the other hand, struggled against Oklahoma in the regular-season finale, and in the Big 12 title game, so there are some question marks there. Still, they have good talent along the line on both sides of the ball, a dynamic running back, and at one point, looked like a favorite to be one of the final teams standing in the College Football Playoff.
The Freeman era gets off on the right foot, and while it is a close one, the Irish come away with the victory, 24-21.
