The Notre Dame football team takes on Oklahoma State in the Fiesta Bowl, and here are three members of the Irish to keep an eye on.

On Saturday, the Notre Dame football team will look to cap off their 2021 season on a high note, beating the Oklahoma State Cowboys in the Fiesta Bowl. Notre Dame has won seven straight to close out the regular season, and with a win in the bowl game, they can start to change the big-game narrative surrounding this program.

Here, we look at three members of the Irish football team that will be key in this matchup.

Logan Diggs, Running Back

The big news heading into the matchup was the fact that stars Kyle Hamilton and Kyren Williams would both sit out to get ready for the 2022 NFL Draft. Hamilton had been out since the USC game, but Williams had really caught his stride to close out the season, and put together his second 1,000-yard season in two years.

In his place, keep an eye on true freshman Logan Diggs, who had some incredible moments during the regular season, and will now see his playing time, and carries increase. Nobody is expecting Diggs to do what Williams is known for, but he is a player who is solid on the ground, and through the air, so there is no reason why he cannot carry the load as Williams preps for the next level.
