The Notre Dame football team will take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys in the Fiesta Bowl, and here are the reasons why they will win.

The Notre Dame football team has one more hurdle in the 2021 college football season, and that is taking on Oklahoma State in the Fiesta Bowl. This Irish team has come a long way since the beginning of the season, where they struggled against the likes of Purdue and Toledo, and have to be considered one of the best teams in the country right now.

After just missing out on the College Football Playoff, Notre Dame now focuses on Oklahoma State, and here are some reasons why they will beat them in the Fiesta Bowl.

Irish offensive line

For the first time in a long time, true freshman Blake Fisher will dot the starting offensive line for the Notre Dame football team. A Day 1 starter, Fisher was injured during the team’s victory over Florida State in the season opener, and never returned to the lineup.

Now, he enters the starting lineup, but at right tackle, as Joe Alt has earned the right to stay on the left side after a terrific season. With NFL prospects like Cain Madden and Jarrett Patterson on the inside, this is as dominant as the offensive line has looked all season long, and that will go a long way in the Irish beating the Cowboys on Saturday.
