The Notre Dame football team will battle it out against Oklahoma State in the Fiesta Bowl, and here is our final game preview and prediction.

At the beginning of the 2021 college football season, it looked like it could be a rough year for the Notre Dame football team. They barely escaped against a bad Florida State game in the season opener despite a monstrous effort from Jack Coan, who set the school records for passing yards in a debut.

From there, it looked worse, as the team barely got past Toledo and Purdue, and then would lose badly to Cincinnati inside Notre Dame Stadium. However, that loss would prove to be their only defeat of the season, as the team revamped the offensive line, leading to them becoming one of the best offenses in the country.

Coan started getting more time in the pocket, and Kyren Williams looked like he did as a redshirt freshman the year before, running over and around defenders. The defense started to play at an elite level as well, going three straight games without allowing a touchdown, and finishing with a dominant effort at Stanford.

With the regular season in the rearview mirror, the Irish clinched a spot in a New Years Six bowl game, where they will take on Oklahoma State in the Fiesta Bowl. Here, we look at a preview of the matchup, and how the game could go on Saturday afternoon.
