Notre Dame Football: 4 program-changing recruits to target in 2023

Dante Moore, QB: Martin Luther King (MI)

Moore is another highly talented playmaker and undoubtedly one of the best in his class. Dante is a unanimous top 5 quarterback prospect in his class hailing from Michigan. He’s 6’2” 195 pounds with the size and speed, along with the talent, to start as a freshman. According to his Hudl tape, in 2021, Moore accumulated 3,047 yards and 40 touchdowns.

Notre Dame is again battling with the Big Ten for an elite prospect

And you guessed it, Notre Dame has some heavy competition from Michigan and Michigan State as it stands. Both look to be significant players in Moore’s recruitment process. He also holds offers from FSU, Oregon, LSU, and Auburn, to mention a few.

Again, like with Carnell Tate and Ohio State, Dante may be slightly blocked by J.J. McCarthy in Ann Arbor. That’s not to say a lot won’t change between now and then, but McCarthy looked sharp against Georgia in a big game. Big things are coming with Tommy Rees leading the charge and having more freedom on offense.

It’ll be a battle to the end in Dante’s recruiting process, but there’s no doubt he would be a massive difference-maker for the Irish.
