Defensive Line

We will start along the defensive line, where the Irish could have the best collection of talent of any team in the country next season. While plenty of elite players from the top programs have decided to go pro, the Irish got back three very special players in Jayson and Justin Ademilola, and edge rusher Isaiah Foskey.

Foskey is coming off a breakout season, one that saw him push his name into the Day 2 NFL pick category. He racked up double-digit sacks and had six forced fumbles, so it was more than just good news when he announced that he would be back to finish the job with the Irish next Fall.

The combination of Foskey and Justin Ademilola coming off the edge is going to be a special combination, and I expect to see more from Howard Cross II this upcoming season. Also, the Irish have elite talent coming in with their 2022 recruiting class, including Tyson Ford and Aiden Gobaira, two of the top defensive linemen in the entire country.
