With a superb college career with the Notre Dame football team, here are potential landing spots for running back Kyren Williams in the 2022 NFL Draft.

While Kyle Hamilton may be the Notre Dame football player getting all the hype, Kyren Williams will make a team very happy in the 2022 NFL Draft. Thanks to his elite elusiveness and pass-blocking abilities, Williams will make an impact in week 1 of the 2022 season.

No. 3: Houston Texans

As a team, the Houston Texans ranked last in total yards and yards per game during the 2021 season. With David Johnson coming over from Arizona and Rex Burkhead from New England, there was hope; that didn’t last long. With their youngest running back on the roster being 4-year player Royce Freeman, the team could use an injection of youth and talent to the position.

With Kyren Williams, they’ll be getting a back they can use on every down. His versatility as a runner and pass blocker will pay dividends for whichever team selects him. Whether the Texans stick with rookie quarterback Davis Mills or move in another direction, Kyren will also be insurance. Giving a young quarterback as much time to work in the pocket as possible can only lead to increased chances of success.

As a team in a rebuild, getting a solid back to lead the way in Houston could only boost an offense that was pretty abysmal in 2021.
