No. 7: Myron Tagovailoa-Amosa caps off Senior Day

Looking back, Senior Day was a special one for this 2021 class, as they played host to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets inside Notre Dame Stadium. What began as a ceremonial day turned into a nightmare for the Yellow Jackets, as the Irish went up and down the field on them, cruising to a 55-0 victory.

The damage was done by the time the two teams went to the half, as the Irish got out to a 45-0 lead before the break, and really took their foot off the gas. However, while they would only score ten points in the second half, they did have one of the more memorable moments of the 2021 campaign.

Senior defensive lineman Myron Tagovailoa-Amosa picked up a forced fumble by Isaiah Foskey at the 30-yard line and rumbled for a 70-yard touchdown to cap his illustrious Notre Dame career.

A fifth-year starter and captain, it was the first touchdown for Tagovailoa-Amosa, and it certainly put a fitting end to a blowout victory on Senior Day.
