No. 2: Logan Diggs hurdles a Virginia defender

After struggling early in the season, by the time the Notre Dame football team took on the Virginia Cavaliers, they were on a roll. They were getting contributions up and down the lineup on both sides of the ball, and true freshman Logan Diggs was emerging as a legitimate weapon behind Kyren Williams.

Blessed with incredible athletic ability, Diggs was not overwhelmed by the collegiate level, and gave us some highlight-reel plays even before the Virginia matchup. However, it was against Virginia that he put his name on a national level, as his play against the Cavaliers in the first quarter of their matchup was Sportscenter material.

Gettin the ball on a handoff to the left side, Diggs raced up the sideline, and when a defender came up to meet him, he hurdled him en-route to a 26-yard game.

It was the kind of run that you once see maybe once a season, and for Diggs, it is just a glimpse of what we can expect from him over the next few seasons.
