Notre Dame football: Best 2023 QBs not named Arch Manning to target

Dante Moore

The key for the 2023 class for the Notre Dame football team is Detroit King star, Dante Moore, one of the best quarterback prospects in the country. Moore has already been on campus and got to see what the program is like with Marcus Freeman running the show, and that has moved the Irish to the front of the class when it comes to his recruitment.

One key for the Irish could be Tommy Rees, who developed a strong relationship with Moore during the 2021 season and could be the deciding factor. Moore is one of the better quarterback prospects to come out of the state of Michigan in quite some time and can do it all from the pocket, completing better than 70 percent of his passes for over 3,000 yards and 40 touchdowns this past season.

According to 247Sports.com, the Irish are one of four schools who are in the ‘warm’ for Moore, with two of them being from the state of Michigan in Michigan State, and the Michigan Wolverines. However, Michigan just lost their OC, and with Jim Harbaugh not showing too much commitment to the program this offseason, Notre Dame has a real shot to land the No. 4 quarterback in the 2023 class.
