Christoper Vizzina

Another top-10 quarterback for the 2023 class that the Irish are definitely in on is Christopher Vizzina, a 6-foot-3 signal-caller from the state of Alabama. Vizzina showed off his talents during the Senior Bowl Week, displaying the kind of accuracy that is going to enable him to take his pick at what college he wants to continue his playing career at.

Vizzina has six schools that are considered ‘warm‘ when it comes to his recruitment per 247Sports.com, and the Irish are one of them. He told Mike Singler of InsideNDSports that going to a Christian High School, his coaches put “God first before football,” and the combination of high-level football and faith could give the Irish the edge in terms of his recruitment.

He also told Singer he is very close with Rees.

Overall, the quarterback room is loaded heading into the 2022 season, and it will be interesting to see if Buchner can establish himself as a multi-year starter. In 2023, Notre Dame football is going to be in play for two of the more elite signal-callers available, and they should do whatever they can to make them Irish.
