At 12-2 over their last 14, Notre Dame is quietly having a very strong season. They’re 9-2 against the spread (ATS) over their previous 11 behind the 66th-best adjusted offensive efficiency and 68th-ranked defensive efficiency. They protect the ball, shoot three-pointers well and don’t let the opponent shoot many free throws. Before they lost to Duke, they were undefeated at home.

Now they get to take on a Louisville team that is terrible. The Cardinals are welcoming back Malik Williams from a two-game suspension, but they’re just 1-9 ATS in their last 10 and lost to the Irish at home by 12 just a few weeks ago.

Louisville has just the 212th-best effective field goal percentage, 228th-ranked offensive rebounding rate and 257th-highest free throw rate. They don’t hit shots and don’t give themselves opportunities to make up for it. Against Notre Dame in South Bend, that spells disaster.
