National Signing Day has come and gone, and the Notre Dame football team put together quite a class for the 2022 cycle. Here is the group by the numbers.

Last season, the Notre Dame football team ran off seven straight victories to close the regular season, coming very close to punching another ticket to the College Football Playoff. As they enter the spring and summer heading into the 2022 campaign, there are questions on both sides of the ball, and it will be interesting to see how all the pieces come together.

One key for the 2022 team will be the incoming 2022 recruiting class, a tremendous group of talent that should make a big impact in Year 1. Sure, not all the recruits coming in will factor as much in the 2022 campaign, but some could start, and others could be big-time role players in crucial spots.

The 2022 season will be the first for head coach Marcus Freeman at the helm, and he is doing a nice job coaching up the players he recruited, as well as those leftover from Brian Kelly’s recruiting classes. He was very involved with the 2022 class, serving as defensive coordinator last year, making this first class of his very special.

Here, we dive into the 2022 class by the numbers.
