The Notre Dame football team should see several players drafted in the 2022 NFL Draft, and here is an early All-Irish mock

Going into the 2022 NFL Draft, there is not a ton of buzz surrounding the Notre Dame football program. Sure, they have one of the best players in the class in Kyle Hamilton, a sure-fire top-5 pick, as well as one of the elite running backs, but after that, it could be a while until we hear another Irish player called.

Last year, the Irish figured to have an automatic first-round pick in Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, who fell into Day 2 due to a heart issue detected during the draft process. Though JOK would turn out to be fine, that made it two straight draft years that the Notre Dame football program did not have a first-round pick, something that will change this year.

The 2021 NFL Draft saw the Irish well represented, as stars from both sides of the ball heard their names called throughout the seven-round event. Five members of the Irish have been invited to the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis this year, so it will be interesting to see which players hear their names called this April.

Here, we take an early stab at a 7-round All-Irish 2022 NFL Mock Draft
