Notre Dame football: Early 7-round All-Irish 2022 NFL Mock Draft

UDFAs and Recap

Outside of the five players that we listed in this early mock draft, there are a few other names to keep an eye on during the draft season. Players like Isaiah Pryor, Cain Madden, Drew White, and Kurt Hinish all could be Day 3 picks if they can do well with the interviews, and have good workouts before the 2022 NFL Draft.

However, if they are not selected, they could continue their football journeys as undrafted rookie free agents, a path many Irish players have gone before. One more name who could sign as a UDFA is kicker Jonathan Doerer.

Currently, this is one of the thinner draft classes the Irish have put together, something that will certainly change in 2022, when they could have double-digit numbers in terms of draft picks from the program. Day 3 is always interesting, as we saw Ben Skowronek go in the seventh round last year, and he helped the Los Angeles Rams to the Super Bowl his rookie season.

The truth is, this could be a light 2022 NFL Draft for the Notre Dame football program, as a bunch of 2022 draft prospects decided to return to school this offseason. Still, the Irish are going to have at least three players selected, including one that could be a top-5 pick, which is great for the program.
