The first-place Notre Dame basketball team hits the road tonight, taking on the Clemson Tigers inside Littlejohn Coliseum.

On Wednesday night, the Notre Dame basketball played host to the Louisville Cardinals with first place in the ACC on the line. After the Duke Blue Devils lost earlier in the week, the stage was set for the Irish to take over sole possession of first place and they did not disappoint.

The Irish got out to an early lead, only to fall behind by a point in the second half, but once again, were able to play strong to close out another victory inside Purcell Pavilion. Even without star forward Nate Laszewski, the Irish were able to get contributions up and down the lineup, cruising to their 13th win in the last 16 games.

Tonight, they look to continue their run against the Clemson Tigers.

According to WynnBet, the Irish are the underdog tonight and are getting 1.5 points from the struggling Clemson Tigers. If you bet on the Irish straight up, you are getting +105 odds, while a money line bet on Clemson has odds of -135. The over/under in this matchup is set at 135.5 points.

Notre Dame basketball at Clemson Prediction Tonight

Clemson is struggling heading into this matchup, having won only two of their last nine games, and are fresh off an embarrassing loss to the Duke Blue Devils. Notre Dame, on the other hand, is one of the hottest teams not only in the ACC, but in the country, and they will look to keep the good times rolling in this one.

However, Laszewski is expected to miss this one, which means the Irish will be going with a six-man rotation once again against Clemson. Still, despite them being listed as the underdogs, I like Notre Dame basketball to come out and spread the ball around, as well as seeing Paul Atkinson Jr. continue to become a force down low.

When all is said and done, I like the Irish to come away with a five-point victory on the road.
