Notre Dame football: Top returning players on offense in 2022

Ademilola Twins

We close with a twin tandem that is going to need to step up in a big way this season with a few key players leaving due to graduation. Kurt Hinish and Myron Tagovailoa-Amosa. Tagovailoa-Amosa is expected to be a Day 2 pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, and Hinish is likely to start his career at the next level as a UDFA.

To replace them, the Ademilola twins will need to step up, with Jayson stepping up on the inside replacing Hinish, and Justin coming off the edge. The Ademilola Twins have had excellent careers with the Irish, and their coming back will be huge for a defensive line that could see some younger players step in during the 2022 campaign.

When you look at the talent returning in 2022, as well as the new faces coming in, this Notre Dame football team is going to be elite on the defensive side of the ball this year, and beyond. They also have an elite defensive mind as their head coach, and in 2022, they could end up having the best defense in the country.
