Notre Dame football: Irish 2022 offensive line could be special

Notre Dame football loaded along the offensive line

Jarrett Patterson decided to spurn the 2022 NFL Draft, where he was regarded as the No. 2 center in the draft class, and a potential Day 2 pick. During his time at Notre Dame, he has established himself as the premier center in the country and has not allowed a single sack in his entire career.

He will man the middle of this offensive line once again and will be counted on to be the veteran leader of this group. On the outside, Joe Alt and Blake Fisher will be back at the starting offensive tackle spots, and both have the potential to be first-round NFL Draft picks when all is said and done.

On the inside, Kristofic will be back at left guard, while Josh Lugg is expected to move inside at right guard. True sophomore Rocco Spindler was one of the best at his position coming out of high school, and provides depth along the interior, as does players like Pat Coogan, Tosh Baker, and Zeke Correll.
