The Notre Dame basketball team looks to continue their winning ways tonight, as they play host to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.

Beating a lesser team at home will prove crucial for the Notre Dame basketball team tonight, as they welcome the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets to Purcell Pavilion. The Yellow Jackets come into this game with an 11-17 record, and the only way they will get in to the NCAA Tournament is if they can stun the conference in the ACC Tournament in a few weeks.

On the other hand, the Irish come into this game fresh off a strong victory against Syracuse, one that snapped a one-game skid for the program. They were playing so-so basketball heading into that matchup, but hopefully, that was a win that can propel them to close the season out with no more losses on their resume.

Tonight, they take on a Georgia Tech team that has lost four of their last five games, and are one of the worst teams in the ACC.

Also, Paul Atkinson Jr. is playing on another level right now, and his strong play down low will play huge in this matchup. Notre Dame basketball is on the doorstep of finally getting back to the NCAA Tournament, and this win will go a long way in them solidifying their chances of being a single-digit seed this March.
