The Notre Dame football team could see Kyren Williams be one of the top running backs taken in the 2022 NFL Draft. Here are his best fits.

The 2022 NFL Draft is right around the corner, and for the Notre Dame football program, it could be one where few players are selected. As it stands, they will likely have a top-5 pick in Kyle Hamilton, but after Kyren Williams likely goes on Day 2, it is anybody’s guess as to how many other players will be taken.

Hamilton, Williams, Myron Tagovailoa-Amosa, Jack Coan, and Kevin Austin Jr. have all been invited to the NFL Scouting Combine, so they will all get a chance to improve their draft position. When it comes to Williams, he is certainly going to be selected, and here, we look at the three best landing spots for him in the draft.

Atlanta Falcons

Last season, former wide receiver Cordarelle Patterson took over as the feature back in Atlanta, and he started 13 games, rushed for a career-high 153 carries, and also had over 50 catches. The problem for the Falcons, however, is that he is hitting free agency, and he is going to be a sought-after add for multiple NFL teams.

If they decide to turn the page on Patterson, due to the fact he is going to get a large contract, Williams could be in play for them on Day 2. He would be a starter immediately on this roster, and with a seasoned quarterback in Matt Ryan helping him in Year 1, he could flourish on this roster.
