The Notre Dame football team is sending five players to the 2022 NFL Scouting Combine, and here is our primer for this year’s event.

With the focus of the Notre Dame football team on spring practices and recruiting, those players fighting for their NFL lives will enter the biggest week of the offseason for them. Starting on Monday, the Irish will see five former stars head to Indianapolis for the 2022 NFL Scouting Combine, with a chance to improve their draft status.

Only five players are heading to Indy, but all five have a legitimate chance to be on an NFL roster next season. Sure, Kyle Hamilton and Kyren Williams are locked to hear their names called this year in the draft, but Kevin Austin Jr., Jack Coan, and Myron Tagovailoa-Amosa put enough on tape at Notre Dame to warrant a serious look as well.

Here is the complete schedule for the 2022 NFL Scouting Combine.

On-field workouts will begin on Thursday with the quarterbacks, tight ends, and wide receivers, with the combine wrapping up Saturday with the punters, kickers, and defensive backs.
