The Notre Dame basketball team will hit the road for the last time in the regular season, traveling to take on the Florida State Seminoles.

In their final road game of the regular season, the Notre Dame basketball team will hit the road to take on the Florida State Seminoles. The Irish have yet to take on their ACC rival this season and are looking to close out their regular season on a four-game win streak heading into the ACC Tournament.

With their win against Georgia Tech their last time out, the Irish clinched a top-4 seed in the ACC Tournament, but they still have an outside shot at winning the conference’s regular-season title. They would need Duke to lose their final two games, which is not likely, as the Blue Devils are one of the hottest teams in college basketball.

For the Irish, they just need to handle their own business, closing out strong, and entering the ACC Tournament ready to improve their NCAA Tournament status.

These two teams are on different paths over the last ten games, as the Irish are 8-2 in that span, and the Seminoles are 2-8. Florida State did get a win their last time out thanks to a 20-point effort by Matthew Cleveland against Virginia and do have a 9-4 home record this season, so this will not be a cakewalk for the Irish.

Notre Dame basketball, on the other hand, has been one of the hottest teams in the country since inserting Blake Wesley into the starting lineup, and he has come on strong as of late. Notre Dame is a legitimate tournament team for the first time in years and should be able to take care of the Seminoles on the road.
