Notre Dame football: 3 reasons Jack Coan will be selected in the 2022 NFL Draft

Interview process

One thing that really stands out when it comes to Jack Coan is his presence, and it was felt immediately after he stepped onto campus in South Bend. He blew away his coaches and his teammates with his overall demeanor, establishing himself as a leader in the building as a graduate transfer, something that is not easy to do.

This week in Indianapolis, Coan is one of five members of the Irish who will be attending the 2022 NFL Scouting Combine, and it should prove huge for his draft stock. He is an impressive young man, and when teams begin to interview him, they are going to be blown away by his football IQ, and his overall personality.

The NFL is a strange place, and we have seen so many bad quarterbacks hang on as free agents just because the talent pool at the position is so thin. In Coan, teams are going to see a leader who will come in and put in the work, which will make him a draft target for many teams after the week has finished.
