Notre Dame football: 3 reasons Jack Coan will be selected in the 2022 NFL Draft

Coan is a winner

When it comes to the NFL, the bottom line is winning, and that is something that Coan did a lot of during his collegiate career. Before even landing in South Bend, Coan was able to lead the Wisconsin Badgers to a Big Ten title game and is fresh off leading the Irish to a possible College Football Playoff berth.

Finishing the regular season 11-1, the Irish were beaten in the Fiesta Bowl, but Coan did work, tossing for over 500 yards and five touchdowns. Overall, his demeanor, his winning record, and his throwing talent should be more than enough for a team to take a chance on him within the final four rounds of the 2022 NFL Draft.

Coan is someone that you know is going to come into your organization and put his best foot forward every time out. He may never be a starter at the next level, but this league has a shortage of legitimate talent backing up the starters, and in Coan, a team would have a player they know they can count on if they need someone to step up in a tough moment.
