The Notre Dame basketball team will find out if they have punched their ticket to the 2022 Men’s NCAA Tournament. Here is how to watch the action.

On Sunday, the Notre Dame basketball team will find out if they are one of the teams that have punched their tickets to the 2022 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament. The Irish won 22 games during the regular season, clinching the No. 2 seed in the ACC Tournament, though they were beaten in their first game by the Virginia Tech Hokies.

Still, many feel that the Irish did enough during the regular season to clinch a spot in the Big Dance, a place they have not been in quite some time. The last time the Irish made the NCAA Tournament on the Men’s side was back in 2017, when they lost in the second round to West Virginia, 83-71.

This has been a fun season of Notre Dame basketball, as we saw the emergence of Blake Wesley as a legitimate first-round pick as a true freshman. Today, we get to see whether or not the party will continue for the Irish.

Here is how you can see if the Notre Dame basketball team gets in

What: Selection Sunday

When: Sunday, March 13 at 6 p.m. ET

TV: CBS

Live Stream: March Madness Live, FuboTV

When it comes to the NCAA Tournament, the veteran-laden teams usually have a good shot to make a run, and this is definitely a team with a bunch of experience playing together. Unfortunately, their short stint in the ACC Tournament could come back to haunt them, as one publication has them playing in the First Four, taking on BYU for a chance to make the final 64.

If the Irish do get a chance to play in the tournament this year, I believe they could make a run, as they were tough down the stretch all season long. Wesley could be a one-and-done for the Irish this season, as mock drafts have him going in the first round, so if the Irish want to take advantage of having him in the starting lineup, now is the time.
