Notre Dame football: Defensive two-deep projection entering Spring

Vyper

  • 1st team-Isaiah Foskey

It was a bit of a surprise when Foskey came back for another year in South Bend, but he likely found that his draft stock wasn’t as high as he was hoping for. So, another season to develop and prove himself was worth it for the star edge rusher. He, also, could simply want to continue playing at Notre Dame and get everything possible out of his time in college. Whatever the case, it’s a huge gain for the Irish in 2022. He’s the clear starter.

  • 2nd team-Justin Ademilola

Jayson Ademilola’s brother Justin is an incredibly talented player in his own right, who you will need to be used to seeing on the field for Notre Dame. If Foskey hadn’t returned, he’s the type of player you could be confident in as a starter along the defensive line.
